(More customer reviews)I am very thankful for this book - I discovered many things about my Great, Great, Grandfather, Padre Polaco. I was grateful that someone chose to research and document this information. I felt it was written in an interesting and concise manner, as well as touching on many human interest points. Reading that my ancestor, as well as other Poles, had contributed significantly to the development of the Southwest, and were instrumental in the developement and settlement of the future State of New Mexico; gave me reason to be proud of my heritage. The book was a blessing and I am happy to be able to share this with my children. I think it is ironic that the Author, Francis Casimir Kajencki was born in Erie, PA., and that is where I currently live.
