(More customer reviews)This would be a great fishing rod...if it didn't have lead. I bought 2 of these for my kids. Right as I was about to take it out of the packaging to set it up for my kids, I noticed a sticker on the back of the packaging that said something to the nature of, "Warning: contains lead which can be harmful if eaten or chewed. May also release dust containing lead." Nice. Makes you wonder what part of it is really a lead hazard...the handles? The paint? A mechanism inside the reel and that it really isn't that much of a hazard?
