(More customer reviews)Installed this fly rod holder to keep my G. Loomis safe and secure on a 14' Liquid Logic Stingray sit-in kayak. Installed easily, looks nice and very well constructed. My only concern is that the rod is secured by a soft rubber strap that streches into place and prevents the rod from slipping out. If that strap is lost or broken, the rod holder will no longer function properly. Has not been a problem so far but simply a concern. Mounted on a kayak, the rod holder allows you to troll with your fly rod which, in the seatrout rich waters of Apalachee Bay in Florida, can be very effective.
