(More customer reviews)I was at Coney Island wanting to fish and begging my dad for a rod. Eventually he bought me this for my birthday. I was a complete nnovice but realized that the rod handle kept on falling out. Eventually The handle fell into the water because there was no bback to the handle holding it in. I bought a cheaper smaller reel and have used it with success catchinng Largemouth bass and, when I go for saltwater spot and fluke. If the reel works well you should buy this combo.
