(More customer reviews)I purchased this book in Tokyo after falling in love with Japanese gardens. Things I like about it includewide content of overview of visual examples of gardens, examples of lanterns, water basins, stepping stones and materials and tools for use in building a garden. Also there are plans for pictured gardens. A disadvantage was that a great amount of space was devoted to bamboo fences/building. Another good book is "A Japanese Touch For Your Garden", K. Seike, M Kudo, D. Engel
