(More customer reviews)I purchased a pair of these based on the cheap price compared to other hiking poles. I am a light hiker and used the poles only for gradual descents down hills. About the fourth time I used these, the lower shaft on one pole broke and it would no longer extend to it's full length. On the other pole, the tip had already broken off after the second use, but that part I could live with. Overall, these appear to be nothing more than typical Chinese made junk. Avoid these and pay more for better poles.
