I bought the book becuase I got stuck and thought I missed some upgrades after resating the game again realized that this prince is nowhere as good as "sands of time" and "warrior within" it is a software glitch sometimes I was being attacked by swords with no villians or the game would lock upthe Prima guides are not as good as the Bradygame books

(More customer reviews)The title of this review consists of words I don't use too often. But this is a masterpiece that deserved its Pulitzer Prize and then some. What makes Spiegelman's work so moving is the juxtaposition of a supposedly lighthearted form, the comic strip, with the greatest evil and suffering in human history, the Holocaust. Spiegelman's parents miraculously survived the concentration camps, being among very few survivors, getting by on luck and (in the case of Spiegelman's father) a lot of resourcefulness. This is their story, from the point of view of the father, who lost nearly all of his relatives. With the Jews as mice and the Nazis as cats, this work pulls no punches in describing the true horrors of the Holocaust, and Spiegelman's minimalist artwork makes the images all the more disturbing. You don't get this kind of emotion, terror, and brutal honesty in standard written accounts of the period. But underneath the direct suffering of the Holocaust, the true theme of this book is the lasting effects on the Spiegelman family, including the father's lasting agony and the mental illness shared by both Spiegelman's mother and himself, who hadn't even been born yet. The strained relationship between father and son are the true heart of this tremendous work. I haven't been this blown away by a work of literature in a very long time, if ever.

Tomb Raider: Legend: The Complete Official Guide Review

(More customer reviews)Inevadibly, as with most Tomb Raider games, most players need to use the guide. While for Legends, the game is pretty straightforward enough that you don't really need a guide, but if you're a perfectionist who likes to know where ~every~ secret of the game is then this book is for you. Certainly, you don't need to know where all of the secrets are to get through the game, but hey...if you want to see Lara run around in a near skin toned bikini you have to know what to do to get that, right? (And yes the game does have a near skin toned bikini for Lara to wear).
But it tells you more than just how to move the blocks around properly to see her in a bikini, there is also he story of the evolution of the game from the first 1996 adventure to the present and a 12 page behind the scenes look at the present game.
Unlike some of the previous TR guides that are somewhat hard to follow, this has a format that is certainly easy to follow, which includes maps and notes on specific problem areas.
All in all, well worth the extra few bucks you put out for the game and the book.

(More customer reviews)Overall, the set is pretty good. The poles are very lightweight (aluminum) and easy to adjust with three different heights. Also, it is very easy to set-up and the tension rings work well. The ground stakes are also heavy duty and hold the guy lines very well. My only complaint with the system is the net design. One of the bottom loops (the net has 4 loops on each side) broke the first time I set up the system and I had to sew it back together. Also, this type of net does not allow for a really tight net for good "play out of the net" although it's not bad. I am planning to buy a better net but the rest of the system is pretty high quality. And for the price, less than 130 dollars, you won't find another set that has these very nice lightweight aluminum poles and the easy set-up so I have to recommend it but you probably will want a better net even for recreational play. Since I bought this the price has dropped even lower so I would definitely recommend at the current price.
