The rack is adorable- it looks just like a bass, with great details, right down to color shading. It's also sturdy and well constructed- it attaches securely to the wall, protects the rods, all the while looking fantastic. I'd recommend this rack to any fishing lover- it's a cute, sturdy way of proudly displaying your rods.

I didn't want to miss a fish that could have gotten away if I was adjusting something with my first rod and wasn't paying attention. I have had success with Catch Alert while fishing the Cape Cod surf as well as fresh water lakes in California. You can use the Catch Alert as a Rod Holder also. It stakes into the sand or dirt area you are fishing from. I have enjoyed using Catch Alert so much, I plan on getting a 2nd device for my other rod. I can't wait to try this device in the winter for ice fishing.

My only recommendation is to be careful you do not tighten the mounting screws too much or the plastic will crack.

(More customer reviews)I purchased it for Father's day. It is still his favorite gift EVER. He has it stuck to the truck windows with his poles in it.. He uses this thing everywhere. Ocean, lake, rivers.. its perfect and also a huge plus on the safety. It stays in place with the suction cups and we don't have to worry about the hooks possibly hurting someone or getting stuck in the fabric of our trucks. The product is well constructed, has had no problems dealing with the weather. It continued to stay on the glass even when the outside temps were over 105.

Racor PFR-4R Pro Four-Pole Fishing Rod Rack Review

(More customer reviews)This is the 4th set of these ceiling rod holders I have ordered from this company -- both the product and the company are excellent-- very reasonable price for a solid metal ceiling rod rack set. Each set(front and back)holds 4 rods AND REELS(accomodates either fresh or salt -- very heavy weight to ultra lite-- and you control the distance between the front and back racks, therefore you can have a rack or racks for poles of any size (one of mine holds four 10 ft+poles and their companion reels-- another set holds 4 ultralite 5 foot freshwater poles and companion reels.) By the way, this is the only company I have found that offers this product--it was delivered very promptly and well packaged (really doesn't need the secure packaging for they are as solid as a rock.) All hard ware came with the rack(two long screws). I would suggest that some self-stick foam tape be used to protect the smaller diameter section (the front rod section)--However, this is really not that necessary -- my hangup.
